1. Deposit

Upon confirmation of the reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. This deposit covers preparation and the timely purchase of ingredients. The reservation is only considered final upon receipt of the deposit.

2. Payment of the balance

The remaining balance is payable after the event, in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice.

3. Cancellation by the client

• Cancellation up to 7 days prior to the event: free of charge.
• Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the event: the deposit will be retained to cover costs incurred and ingredients purchased.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the event: the full amount may be charged, taking into account preparation, purchased goods and reserved time.

4. Changes in number of guests

Minor changes (less than 10%) can be communicated up to 3 days prior to the event.

Larger changes may affect pricing and/or feasibility and will be assessed in mutual agreement.

5. Delivery and service

Any travel costs (€0.50/km round trip) are included in the quotation.

For on-site service, an hourly rate of €28/hour applies, including travel time.

6. Allergies and dietary requirements

Allergies and dietary requirements will be accommodated as much as possible, provided they are communicated in advance (minimum 5 days prior to the event).

Ellen’s Catering cannot be held liable for allergic reactions or intolerances that were not communicated in advance.

7. Liability

Ellen’s Catering cannot be held liable for damage to materials or property caused by third parties or by circumstances beyond its control.

8. Validity of the quotation

Each quotation is valid for 14 days, unless stated otherwise.

By confirming the quotation, the client agrees to these general terms and conditions.
